Never Seen It, Never Done It

Most people usually cannot travel the world and take in the rarest sights. The programs in this series offer viewers the precious opportunities to do just that. Even the most jaded tourist, the one who has been there and done that, will find these destinations fresh, enchanting and informative.

NHK is releasing its newest episodes in this series. One focuses on a Chinese mountain village, where the mail is delivered by donkey. Another looks at a village in the Andes, where villagers with bad blood between them all year, have an official fight on Christmas day and then find they can make reconciliation after that. Another program visits the Sahara to reveal the life of nomads who travel 1,200 kilometers across the desert in search of salt.

You recently aired a program on the Tsucchu Festival in Bhutan, which I was unable to view. Is there any way of viewing it online or otherwise?

Thanks,

I recently watched one of your programs of the Palio. I was delighted to watch all about the famous and historical race of Sienna. I visited Sienna and was always interested of how the race was formed and how it runs. Great program very well done. Brilliant job. One of your favorite fans Mike Rao
